Dear Parents,
We had such a great time creating so many fun art projects for our "beach" party. On Tuesday, the children painted fish, whales, and starfish shapes. They added googly eyes and glitter to make them shimmer like the "Rainbow Fish."
On Thursday, we had our "Rainbow Fish" day. The children glued different color scales on their fish and one sparkly one.
Afterwards, the children participated in a flannel board story called "The Rainbow Fish" and the "Pout, Pout Fish." We continued the fun with an ocean themed creative dance party, where we danced and moved like creatures in the ocean.
The children painted wooden circles (bubbles), added fish stickers to them and finally we added their pictures in the center of the bubble. When the paint was dry, the children added glittery sea creature stickers to them.
We are having an "Ant-Free" indoor beach party on Friday, June 9, 2023. If you would like to donate one of the items on our list, we would appreciate it. Please see the Sign-up List, posted outside our classroom.
Love,
Bonne and Denise
