CAMPING and THANKSGIVING

Dear Parents,

On Monday, we turned our room into a campsite.  We added a few teepees, camp utensils, sticks with marshmallows, a campfire, insects, and lanterns.  Each child was then given a flashlight and we all sang fun camp songs together.  Some of the songs that we sang were:  The Ants Go Marching, A Camping We Will Go, Kumbaya, We're Going on a Bear Hunt, This Little Light of Mine, If You're Happy and You Know It, Five Green and Speckled Frogs, and Kookaburra.  Here is a videos that we took of the children:

We  invited the Quarter Note Class into our room.  We had such a great time around the campfire  "roasting marshmallows." We even made our own s’mores.

We also celebrated Erik's 4th Birthday.  Thank you to his family for the delicious cupcakes.
HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY ERIK!

We ended our week by having a fabulous concert and Thanksgiving feast.  We hope you had a good time at our Thanksgiving celebration.  The children worked so hard preparing for this day. They did an exceptional job singing at the concert.  They looked absolutely adorable in their pilgrim costumes.  I am sure you will all agree!
