Dear Parents,
We started our week with our Half Note Beach Party. The children created so many fun things, where do we start?
They had such a great time making so many fun art projects for our "beach" party. On Monday, the children painted fish, whales, and starfish shapes. They added googly eyes and glitter to make them shimmer like the "Rainbow Fish."
On Tuesday, we made shell people by painting a large shell. When it dried, the children glued on googly eyes, hair, and legs, and arms.
The children also made aquariums by decorating a small jar with fish stickers. They added small shells, a toy frog, glitter, and blue water into a small plastic jar. One of the children said, "It looks like a snow globe!"
The class decorated foam visors with various stickers which they immediately tried on. They all looked so adorable in them!
After having so much fun with all the projects and playing in the pool, we had a fun picnic on our towels. Thank you so much for bringing in such yummy food, drinks, and ice cream for the children.
Since it was so warm outside, we decided to bring our pool outside to splash around in. We also played under a sprinkler, which felt so refreshing!
Fun in the classroom:
On Friday, the children practiced their math skills by adding up pictures of various sea creatures and writing down the numbers. They did such a phenomenal job!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Love,
Ms. Bonne & Ms. Denise
