Dear Parents,

This week we introduced our Pet Week unit by reading Can We Get a Pet, Pets Teach Us, and Oh, The Pets You Can Get, by Tish Rabe

 After listening to stories about pets,  each child created their our own pet houses, using coffee boxes.  The children painted their house in red or blue paint.  When the paint was dry the children added various types of animal stickers and hydrants.  They finished their house off by either adding flowers, wood, or tile shapes for the roof.

On Wednesday we had a talent show with our pets.

~William's dog Chippy's Daddy can do a somersault

~Avery's dog Brownie can do a backflip

~Casey's bunny Sophie can twirl

~Diana's teddy Lucy can stand upside down

~Jakey's dog Brownie can twirl

~ Jacob Stahl's dog Stevie can do a somersault

~Jacob Urman's dog Ozzie can flip on his head

~Penelope's teddy bear Teddy can flip

~Raya's dog Joey can run very fast

~Rose's unicorn Harmonie can roll over

~Teddy's dog Liberty can jump high

~ Vivi's dog Cece can roll

~Neati's Pic Man can do a back roll
