We continued our holiday theme by focusing on Christmas. We started the week off by listening to Pete the Cat Saves Christmas, by Eric Litwin and James Dean. We then made Christmas trees shaped ornaments with popsicle sticks, sequins, jewels, and we even added a star on top. The results were stunning!
On Tuesday, the children made ornaments out of pony beads. They first chose a holiday cookie cutter and then filled it with various colored beads and then we baked them. Please stop by our classroom and look at them hanging on our Christmas tree/holiday bulletin board.
On Wednesday and Thursday we made Christmas wreaths. The children cut them into strips and decorated them with stickers. It was such an excellent fine motor activity project for our class.
On Friday, we invited the Quarter Note Class in to make ice cream cone Christmas trees. We decorated them with green frosting, sprinkles, Skittles and mini marshmallows. The children had so much fun making them while socializing with the Quarter Notes.
All week, the children have been rehearsing holiday music for our holiday party on December 22nd. They are doing such an amazing job and are so excited to perform for all of you.

Ms. Bonne and Ms. Denise
