CHRISTMAS IS FINALLY HERE!

Dear Parents,

We spent the week doing various math problems.  We also practiced writing our numbers one through five.  One of the activities that we did was a math pop up game.  The children pressed the two pop up buttons, added the two numbers together, and then wrote down the answer.  The children practiced counting 1-30 by connecting number monkeys in the correct numerical order.

On Tuesday we baked delicious holiday sugar cookies in shapes of the star of David, dreidels, bells, and Christmas trees.  We will be serving them at our holiday party.

On Thursday we celebrated Karsin's 4th birthday.  Thank you to his parents for the delicious cupcakes and reading a story to our class.

We finished learning about all our straight line letters such as I, E, F, L, and H. Now we are working our curved letters which include C, O, U, and Q.  This week we learned the letter "Q." The children brainstormed a list of words that begin with the letter such as: Queen, quick, quit, quiet, and quilt.

Finally, on Friday, we had a  fabulous celebration.  The children did a great job singing.  I am sure you will all agree.  We hope you enjoyed our concert and all the delicious treats.

MERRY CHRISTMAS1

Love,
Ms. Bonne and Ms. Denise
