We continued painting our dragon sculptures this week. The children also painted flowers for our classroom tree. We covered the pole in the middle of our classroom with brown paper and green tissue paper. The children also painted a flower template and added beads and tissue paper to the center of it. The results were spectacular!
In Mandarin class, Ms. Peishuan read a story about a little red fish. During the story, the children had to find the fish hidden on each page all while reviewing numbers, colors, foods, and animals in Mandarin.
Other areas of interest:
Music with Ms. Lisa: The children kept a steady beat with the rhythm sticks, reviewed several songs, and marched around in a circle while Ms. Lisa played a variety of different tempos on her drum. Whenever she played the rhythm to "Mississippi Stop Stop" the children reverse the direction of the circle.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Love, Ms. Bonne & Ms. Denise
